In over 30 (age) pair category, the Iranian team comprised of Akbar Forouzan and Masoumeh Hosseini snatched the gold medal. South Korea received the silver while Spain and Taipei pocketed bronze.
The bronze medal of junior men’s team category went to the Iranian team comprised of Armin Asadi, Reza Nazari, and Mohammad Ali Abbasnejadian. South Korea defeated Taipei in the final and Thailand won the other bronze medal.
Also, in cadet pair category, Parastoo Zeinali and Ehsan Sedaghat of Iran picked the bronze medal. South Korea collected another gold here and the silver went to Taipei. The Philippines pocketed the other bronze medal of this category.
In the first two days of the competitions, Iranian athletes had gained one gold, one silver, and three bronze medals.
The 2018 edition of World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships kicked off on November 15 in Taipei City, Chinese Taipei. Some 1270 practitioners from 54 countries are participating in the event which will wrap up today.
